THE KONFIDENCE U.K STORY

We started Konfidence back in the 1990’s frustrated at the lack of good alternative swimming products for our own kids. With 3 young boys and only water-wings easily available, we felt sure there had to be a better way of giving them security and confidence in the water. Alot of research, testing and the rather scary decision to ‘go for it’ resulted in the design and manufacture of our first product - Our Original Konfidence Jacket. It was created to provide enough flotation to allow children to learn to swim but with removable buoyancy to gradually reduce dependence on the Jacket. Its bright attractive colours and cool neoprene materials meant, amongst other things, we could see our kids on the beach and as importantly, they would be happy to wear it. Fortunately others felt the same way we did and when the Konfidence Jacket was launched onto the market, it became an instant hit.

Since then we have carefully extended the range of Konfidence products to include Babywarma™ wetsuits from birth to 2 years, Warma and Shortie wetsuits from two to teens, a full UVPF clothing range, beach boots, Paddlers pool and beach socks, one size reusable aqua diapers and Nappicovas, adult Konfidence Jackets and more besides. Our overriding aim now is to create products that are truly useful, well made, attractive and great value for money.

We have been enormously fortunate to have worked with some terrific people and organisations who have helped us to develop, test and refine our range. We are committed to providing the very highest level of service and customer care that we would expect to receive ourselves.
